The Medicine Informatics & Data Analytic Service (MIDAS) provides biostatistics, informatics, bioinformatics, and biocomputational support to faculty and investigators in the Department of Medicine.
Services
Services include:
- Study design and power/sample size calculations
- Statistical analysis and interpretation
- Bioinformatics support
- Manuscript and figure preparation
- Grant application support
Support is available at any stage of a project, from initial planning through publication.

Department of Medicine personnel can schedule a meeting by filling out a MIDAS consultation request form. Please contact center director Andrew McDavid with additional questions.
Faculty and staff outside of the department are encouraged to contact the Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) core for analogous services.
