Nephrology is the branch of internal medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney disease. The Division of Nephrology at the University of Washington is dedicated to providing excellent medical care for patients with hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, acute and chronic renal failure, and for kidney transplantation through research and education.
