The UW genomics center in the NIH All of Us Research Program is one of three genome centers charged with sequencing participants' DNA samples.
Our division was founded in 1957 by Dr. Arno Motulsky. Our research faculty cover most areas of Human and Medical Genetics and modern molecular biology. Fifteen members of our faculty are Diplomats of the American Board of Medical Genetics. Six are members of the National Academy of Sciences.
We train individuals for academic careers in human and medical genetics using the most advanced concepts and techniques of genetics and cellular/molecular biology.
