We are recruiting a new Associate Chair for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to provide leadership and guidance for the Department of Medicine with initiatives to further the Department’s efforts to directly confront bias and racism at the individual, program, departmental, and systemic levels through innovative programs and policies in support of all divisions and programs, as well as in our partnerships with local, regional and global partners and communities that we serve.
As the primary administrative partner to the Associate Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), the DEI Program Manager is responsible for planning, developing and implementing Department of Medicine (DOM) DEI initiatives to further the Department’s efforts of increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the DOM and health equity for patients cared for by DOM faculty and staff. The Program Manager will carry out DEI initiatives at the individual, program, departmental, and systemic levels through innovative programs and policies in support of all divisions and programs.
General Internal Medicine Hospitalist and Consultive Medicine Open Positions
The Hospital Medicine Program, part of the Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) and the Department of Medicine, is currently accepting online candidate applications. GIM will review candidate applications as positions are available on the Hospital Medicine Service and Medicine Consult Service. Candidates may be considered at one or all three sections of GIM—Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, and VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
